- 23 June, 2002, the Return of Overseas Chinese Professionals to China and Entrepreneurship Networking Events, sponsored by the Overseas Chinese Office were successfully held in 4 cities (Beijing, Washington, Tokyo and Frankfurt).
- 24 May-4 June, 2002, The 15-member delegation of the All-European Federation of Chinese Professional Associations successfully visited Shijiazhuang, Langfang, Tianjin, Shanghai, Huzhou and Hangzhou and participated in the “2002 Chinese Business Enterprises’ Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation Exchange”. Among the delegates, there were 5 from Germany, 5 from Netherlands, 3 from UK, 1 from Sweden, 1 from Switzerland; 12 with doctoral degree and 3 with Master’s degree. During the visit, the FCPAE signed the Letter of Intention for the Establishment of European Chinese Entrepreneurship Park with Tianjin New Technology Industrial Park and Shanghai Minbei Industrial Zone; and also signed partnership agreement with the Foreign Affairs Office of Hebei Provincial People’s Government, the Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People’s Government and the Service Center for Experts and Overseas Students of Zhejiang Province. Many delegates have also signed cooperation agreements or letters of intent with various companies and departments. The visit has achieved great results.

- 13 April, 2002, The FCPAE Science, Technology and Entrepreneurship Seminar was successfully held in the Netherlands.
- 10 April, 2002, the Overseas Chinese Office invites 14 experts recommended by the FCPAE to participate in the “2002 China Business Enterprises Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Exchange”, including 4 from Germany, 4 from Netherlands, 2 from UK, 4 from France, 2 from Sweden, 1 from Switzerland, 12 participants with Doctoral Degree and 2 with a Master’s degree.
- 10 April, 2002, the Chinese Medical Association of Germany has joined the FCPAE and appointed Dr. Yigang Li as its representative.

10 April, 2002, Dr. Yaoqi Feng and Dr. Dahai Yu were appointed as representatives by the Chinese Association of Travel Law Engineers and the Chinese Society of Chemical Engineers in Germany, appointed Dr. Xiaoping Luo and Mr. Min Qian respectively, in the meanwhile Dr. Xiaoping Luo and Mr. Ming Qian were removed from their posts.
- 20 March, 2002, Dr. Shengzong Zhou, Ms. Wei Hong and Mr. Zhan Zhang, representatives of the FCPAE and the Chinese Scholars Computer in Germany, met with a delegation of Shenzhen High-tech Industry Association led by Secretary-General Zhou Luming in Frankfurt.
- 12 March, 2002, the China Resources and Environment Association in UK joined the FCPAE and appointed Dr. Xiangyu Sheng as their representative.
- 6, March, 2002, the FCPAE committee voted Dr. Shengzong Zhou’s design as the logo of the FCPAE and rewarded him 25 euros which he later donated to the FCPAE.
- 3 March, 2002, the British Chinese Chemical and Chemical Society joined the FCPAE and appointed Mr. Tiancun Xiao as their representative.
- 25 February, 2002, the call for logo was completed and publish of short listed design and description of emblem.
- 11 February, 2002, the Association of Scientific and Technological Professionals in France joined the FCPAE and appointed Mr. Shidley as their representative.
- 8 February, 2002, the Association of Chinese Students studying in the Netherlands joined FCPAE and appointed Dr. Yu Bing as their representative.
- 6 February, 2002, the FCPAE received a donation of 1000 Euro from Mr. Jian Yu. The donation was very much appreciated.

- 15 December, 2001, The annual meeting of the Netherlands Association of Chinese Scholars and Engineers was successfully held in Delft, the Netherlands. Professor Haixiang Lin, Dr. Shengzong Zhou and Dr. Min Zhang introduced the FCPAE at the meeting.
- 9 December, 2001, the 26th Huali IT Forum was successfully held in Munich, Germany, jointly organized by the Huali IT Forum, the Munich Association of Chinese Students and Scientists and the China Society of Economics in Germany. Dr. Xiaohe Li and Dr. Min Zhang introduced the FCPAE at the forum. The 27th Huali IT Forum “Introduction to JAVA” will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from 12 to 13 January 2002. Members of other associations are welcome to attend.
- 21 November, 2001, a total of 10 Chinese Professional Associations have agreed to join the FCPAE. According to the agreement reached on 20 October in Bad Vilbel, Germany, the FCPAE was formally established in Frankfurt, Germany. The Association of Chinese Computer Science Scholars in Germany was the host Association in 2002. Its Chairman, Dr. Shengzong Zhou, was the Chairman of the Federation in 2002. Dr. Dr. Shengzong Zhou nominated Dr. Bin Zhu, the executive vice-chairman of the Association of Chinese Computer Science Scholars in Germany, as the Secretary-General of the Federation.
- 21 November, 2001, the Chinese Association of Chemistry and Chemical Industry in Germany has agreed to join the FCPAE and appointed Mr. Min Qian as their representative.

- 9 November, 2001, the Chinese Engineers Association in Britain has agreed to join the All-Europe Association of Chinese Professional Associations and appointed Dr. Zhou Keming as its representative.
- 5 November, 2001, the Chinese Association for Student Materials in Brussels has agreed to join the FCPAE and appointed Dr. Chao Zhao as their representative.
- 5 November, 2001, the Association of Communication and Computing of Scholars in Sweden/Switzerland agreed to join the FCPAE and appointed Dr. Yaojin Liu as their representative.
- 4 November, 2001, the Annual Meeting of the Chinese Medical Association in Germany was held in Berlin. Dr. Shengzong Zhou introduced the FCPAE at the meeting.
- 2 November, 2001, the Association of Chinese Scholars and Engineers in the Netherlands has agreed to join the FCPAE and appointed Professor Haixiang Lin as their representative.
- 27-28 October, 2001, the joint annual meeting of the Chinese Economics Association for Germany and the German Tongji Alumni Association was successfully held in Bad Vilbel, Germany. Dr. Shengzong Zhou introduced the FCPAE at the meeting. The Chinese Association of Economics in Germany and the German Association of Alumni in Tongji agreed to join the FCPAE and appointed Dr. Zhong Hong and Professor Andong Yu as their representatives respectively.
- 26 October, 2001, the Huali IT Forum agreed to join the FCPAE and appointed Dr. Jiaqiu Wei as their representative.
- 21 October, 2001, the Association of Chinese Computer Science Scholars in Germany agreed to join the FCPAE and appointed Dr. Shengzong Zhou as their representative.
- 20-21 October 2001, the Annual Conference of the Association of Chinese Computer Science Scholars in Germany and the 25th Symposium of the Huali IT Forum were successfully held in Bad Vilbel, Germany. Fourteen representatives of the ten associations met and unanimously decided to establish the Preparatory Committee of the FCPAE.
