The 2nd China-Europe Scientists Forum
Date: October 24–26, 2025
Location: Heidelberg, Germany
Mission:
To foster interdisciplinary collaboration and advance translational applications for impactful innovation and real-world solutions.
Background:
The China-Europe Scientists Forum was jointly initiated by over 30 scientists from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Spain, Hungary, and other countries at the end of 2023, with the support of more than 60 research institutions and associations, primarily from Germany and France. The forum is dedicated to promoting academic exchange and cooperation between China and Europe, fostering talent and industry convergence, and supporting regional development and scientific innovation. The first forum was successfully held in October 2024 in Frankfurt, Germany, attracting over 200 experts and scholars who engaged in in-depth discussions on translational medicine, artificial intelligence, and computer science. This year, the forum will continue to focus on these fields, with a particular emphasis on encouraging interaction between young students, early career researchers and experienced scientists in related disciplines.
